Semuliki Wildlife Reserve
Before getting to the reserve, there was a superb viewpoint on the Semuliki Forest. The forest extends from the left of the road up to Congo.
We didn't do a game drive in the reserve, but we crossed it on a public road going to the Ntokoro Village. This road can be followed without paying the high fees typical of East African parks. One can see as many animals from that road than on private roads in the reserve proper. This park is seldom visited and therefore there are only a few tracks for watching wildlife and animals are very shy.
Ntokoro is an enclave in the reserve on the shore of Lake Albert. This village is my winner for the dirtiest village I have seen in Africa until now.
