Queen Elizabeth National Park
The Queen Elizabeth National Park is located between lake Edward and lake George. The Kazinga channel linking these two lakes is located at the centre of the park.
The park contains a varied fauna among which are 96 species of mammals and more than 600 species of birds.
Ishasha area
The Ishasha area is known for its lions that like to climb in trees. We searched for a few hours... with success.
Lake Edward area
The area near Lake Edward is another interesting section of the park.
The craters area.
Lake George area
The female said no and moved away, thus the male did not get the chance to mate... not yet.
Other areas
Back to lake George area
We saw lions from far away in the morning. We took the chance of coming back at the end of the day. Once more, luck was with us.
