Lake Manyara is at the heart of the Rift Valley. This park is very nice in the good season when numerous migratory birds stop in it. The park is located at an altitude of 900 - 1800 metres and has an area of 330 km2. About 2/3 of the park is covered by Lake Manyara which provides shelter for thousands of flamingoes part of the year.

In July, the park is filled with migratory birds of all sorts. Here are some pictures of this trip.
