Gombe Stream National Park
This park is the smallest of Tanzania with only 52 km2. However, it is an important one since it shelters a small population of chimpanzees.
It is there that primatologist Jane Goodall studied chimpanzees. For 55 years, she observed and analyzed the social and familial behaviour of this magnificent great ape.
I succeeded in seeing the chimpanzees, but due to the rain and dark clouds, I didn't manage to get very nice pictures. It was nevertheless a very nice experience and a nice little park to visit.
The group of chimpanzees that I was fortunate to observe was always on the move. It is not easy to follow and photograph them through the forest... with rains and dark clouds.
