The bay of Jiquilisco.
The Pacific Coast around the Bay of Jiquilisco is barren of any trace of tourism development. It seems there are only farms and villages where the main livelihood is fishing.

Laguna El Jocotal
This scenic laguna is the most important bird sanctuary in the country, with 214 species.
Unfortunately, the lake is overrun with plants, and also with trash from the village. Although the sanctuary is protected, people still wash themselves and their clothes in the laguna.
