Kolmanskuppe Ghost Town
Kolmanskuppe is an old diamond mining town. The town once had a casino, a bowling alley and a theatre. However, the town was abandoned after the First World War when the price of diamond dropped.
Nowadays, the town is preserved as a ghost town for tourists. Mining operations have started again in the region, but housing developments have been made in other areas.
Even though the town is quite touristy, it is always possible to find a place without any of them and take some nice pictures. With the sand cumulating in some house rooms, the ambience is superb.
A photograph like me can take thousands of shots in a day.
