Lake Niassa
Lake Niassa, also called Lake Malawi, is very well known to travellers on the Malawian side. However, the section of the lake located in Mozambique is little visited by foreigners. The tourism infrastructure is not well developed and is geared for local tourists.
It is a very interesting place for relaxing and observing the rural life of Mozambicans. The people use the lake for everything; fishing, washing themselves, washing dishes, and water the cattle...
The young and adults are willing to be photographed only for the pleasure of seeing themselves on the camera. It is rare to be able to take photos of adults in their daily life.
The kids are pushing each other to be in front of the picture. In a few seconds, they are all a few centimetres from the camera and I can't photograph them.
