Mitla
The ruins of Mitla are located in the centre of the modern village of San Pablo Villa de Mitla. The ruins date from a few centuries before the Spanish conquest. The stone mosaics are their most important characteristic.
Yagul
Yagul has been an important centre in the valley. The part still visible of the ruins was built between AD 750 à 950.
