Lengwe National Park
Lengwe is a small park that greatly suffered from poaching in the past. Nowadays, several animals are still victims of snares installed by farmers and villagers living around the park.
This park was not very interesting. The animals are very shy and flee as soon as one gets close. There are no elephants, lions, or leopards.
Moreover, at the end of September, the temperature is around 40 degrees... It is much more than I can tolerate... I did not even stay a full day in the park.
This buffalo was probably hurt by a snare. On the photo to the right, one can see that its leg seems to be broken.
