Parque Nacional Montaña de Celaque

Celaque National Park is one of the most beautiful parks of Honduras. The major part of the park is located at an altitude of 1800 metres or more. The highest summit in the country is also here, Cerro Las Minas with its 2,849 metres. The park boasts an impressive quantity of flower species, and above 2,500 metres, the cloud forest is splendid.

I slept three nights in my tent in the park, and I enjoyed doing some hikes in the forest. Here are a few pictures of this superb environment.

Seen from above, this tree bridge seems an easy crossing, but it's still quite high.
