Excursions around San Pedro de Atacama
The region around San Pedro de Atacama is bursting with fantastic landscapes. During about a week, I make excursions for discovering high mountains, and salt flats while also sleeping in the wild. San Pedro is the central point where I resupply every two days, but without stopping there. I want to visit all the area and then take a break in the town.

Monjes de la Pacana
The Monjes de la Pacana (Monks of Pacana), also known under the name 'Tara Sentinels' or 'Tara Moais,' are superb rock formations in the Aguas Caliente salt flat.
These enormous sculptures have been carved by the action of the wind during millions of years.

Sleeping in the desert
