Makgadikgadi National Park
The Makgadikgadi Park is a desert area part of the great Kalahari Desert. It is a huge land of several dozens of kilometres. The main interest in this park is the Boteti River that flows on its western border.
This river is the unique permanent source of water of the park and attracts a huge quantity of animals during the dry season.
To enter the park from the south-west gate, I had to take this small ferry to cross the river.
An elephant footprint. I am no match against this footprint.
There is an enormous quantity of elephants in the park.
