Chobe National Park - Savuti
The Chobe Park is divided in three main zones known as the Chobe Riverfront, the Linyanti Marshes, and Savuti. I visited two of these regions and I now present you some photos of the Savuti area.
The density of animals in Chobe is great and it is easy to see elephants and a great variety of antelopes.
I saw three leopards during my two days' stay in this part of the park.
A Sad Story
This story is about a couple of owls mourning the loss of their younglings. Their laments can be heard in the middle of cracking noise and mastication sounds.
Unfortunately for the family, a leopard that is hungry decides to climb to the top of the tree to reach the owl's nest.
The leopard enjoys a good breakfast by devouring the little owls peacefully nesting at the apex of their tree. After a good meal, the leopard returns to the plain leaving the owls with their sorrow...
The end.
