Parque Nacional Talampaya
Talampaya Canyon
Talampaya is another spectacular park next to Ischigualasto Park. The main appeal of the place is the Talampaya Canyon with its vertical walls nearly 150 metres high, its ancient petroglyphs, and several other fantastic rock formations.
As its neighbour, the park can only be visited as part of a tour, but this time the circuit is done in a bus or a truck. I chose the longest tour with the truck as it includes both the Talampaya and Shimpa canyons.

The fauna in the park
Among the largest mammals in the park, I only saw some guanacos from far away. As a consolation prize, I saw some of them on road signs.
