Reserva natural Bosques Telteca

First travel day after the pandemic. I visit the Reserva natural y cultural Bosques Telteca, also known under the name Altos Limpios. The reserva protects a semi-desertic zone comprising a series of dunes named Altos Limpios; limpios meaning 'clean' as the dunes are not covered in vegetation.

It is a nice place where I spent two nights. I also did a nice 10 km trek in the backcountry.

The Alto Grande is the tallest hill.

First camp meal of the trip. My usual dish of rice and tuna; a little bit dull but very nourishing.

They are not empty cages, they are free birds.
