Locate on the map 
San Mateo is a mountain village with mainly Mayan population. The women of the area wear very colourful huipiles. The landscapes around the village are fantastic.

The Mayan cemeteries are brightly coloured. A lot of decorations from the Day of the Dead can still be seen.
