Lions in the Selous

Day 1
Around midday, I went to a picnic site to have a lunch. I wasn't paying attention to what was going on around me.
As soon as I opened the door to get out of the vehicle, the lions all raised their head to look at me. Trust me; I quickly got back into the car.
A group of lions were squatting the picnic site. Impossible to get out and eat here.
I arrived at around 1 PM and the lions were lying under the veranda.
More than lazy! This male didn't even bother to 'get out' to pee.
Toward the end of the day, the lions went hunting.
The first to leave was the biggest female. She stopped near a bush to urinate. When the male passed by, he smelled the bush and made this funny face for a while.

Day 2
The second day, I was even luckier than the previous day. After a few hours of hard driving, I was starting to think that I haven't seen any interesting animals. Then, I came face to face with a hyena (previous post).
About an hour later, there was this group of lions. These are among the best photos I have ever made of lions.
