Semonkong

Semonkong (Place of Smoke) is a small mountain village where horses are all around. Most villagers get about using this animal and it gives the impression of being back in the time of cowboys in old American movies.

One of the main activities is the small hike to Maletsunyane Falls. It is possible to abseil down the falls (a drop of 204 metres - among the highest in the world, apparently).

Semonkong is the perfect place to mix in with the villagers and see their daily life.

Driving on to Malealea

Going to Malealea using a shortcut. It was a 4x4 trail with fantastic scenery all along the path. However, for the vehicle, it was hell due to the difficulty of the trail.
