Malealea

The gorge.

Malealea is another pretty village of Lesotho where several activities are possible. There, I did a nice trek in a magnificent gorge.

I did the trek with another traveller, Anik, and we had good fun trying to find a path in the gorge. We had to worm our way through rocks, crawl through bushes, go for a dip in the river, and turn back a few times to find a better path.

We swam in one of these small pools.

Going back to the village, we made a few friends. They shared some nuts with us despite the fact they are rather very poor. Oddly, they called these nuts 'chocolate'.
