Mosi-oa-Tunya Game Park
This park near the town of Livingstone and the Victoria Falls is tiny. However, it shelters a varied and impressive fauna.
This park was the first safari in an African park for Gitane. It was not my first safari and I was quite surprised by all the animals seen. Thus, imagine how happy Gitane was to see all these animals.
When we got to the park, one of the rangers told us that it was possible to see some white rhinoceros with the rangers that protect them at all time. In the beginning, it looked like a complicated endeavour, but the result was extraordinary.
When we arrived, this huge male rhino was taking a nap under a tree. Not very exciting, but it was an opportunity to see this magnificent creature.
But, wait! When we decided to leave the area, we stumbled upon a mother and its young one. Moreover, the big male that was resting decided to come along to see what was going on in its territory. A fantastic encounter.
